April 20, 2020, Citizens Bank Minnesota merged with Farmers State Bank of Watkins. During the past month, you have probably noticed little to no changes. At the close of business, Friday, June 5, 2020, Farmers State Bank of Watkins will convert to Citizens Bank Minnesota, and your Farmers State Bank of Watkins accounts will transfer to Citizens Bank Minnesota accounts. The conversion will continue to happen over the weekend of June 5th, and when we open on June 8th, you will officially be a Citizens client!
Important Dates:
May 1, 2020 - New account terms and conditions will be mailed.
June 5, 2020 - Bank will close at 3:00 PM and will begin the conversion process to Citizens Bank Minnesota.
June 6, 2020 - Bank will be closed due to software conversion.
June 8, 2020 - Enroll in Citizens eStatements, download our Mobile App, join our WooHoo! Text Club, and so much more!
Customers may bank at any Citizens locations: New Ulm, Lafayette, La Salle, Lakeville or Watkins.
